SAPONE di Bronte

I always love discovering new eco-friendly and sustainable products. My most recent find has been SAPONE di Bronte. (Soap of Bronte) A small family run business from Ball Ground, Georgia. An agricultural and equestrian town situated along the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Their workshop where they create these beautifully crafted products is located in an old Coca Cola bottling factory that was built around the 1900’s.

Part of the reason I love this company and their line of bath and body lotions, scrubs, candles and oils is that they are honoring a simpler time, when products were pure, and made by hand using the most natural ingredients. Mischa, one of the founders, wanted to honor her Sicilian heritage by creating these unique, special products.

All ingredients are organically derived, and do not contain any sulfates, parabens,
artificial colors or fragrances in their products. Many of their essential oils are sourced from Italy and France, where they only use high-grade botanical essences.

Rosemary Argan & Shea Butter Nourishing Lotion – I have been religiously using this sweet-smelling, smooth and nourishing body lotion on a daily basis. This lotion is like swimming in a sea of rosemary, one of my favorite plants and scents. This lotion is so moisturizing, non-greasy, and packaged in a re-usable, refillable pump. The rosemary smells dreamy, and lingers long after you initially put in lotion on your skin.

Sicilian Lime Body Oil – This Tangy yet sweet-smelling Sicilian Lime oil has a fresh clean scent. It is not too greasy, I have been using it daily.

There are also many health benefits to using lime essential oil, which can cure infections, protect against their development, and also contains antiseptic properties. Lime essential oil tones up muscles, tissues and skin as well as the various systems that function in the body, including the respiratory, circulatory, nervous, digestive and excretory systems. This tonic effect helps retain youth for a long time and prevents the appearance of aging symptoms like hair loss, wrinkles, age spots, and muscle weakness. Lavender Body Scrub – I am obsessed with their Lavender Sea Salt Scrub, it’s both exfoliating, (infused with sea salt), and moisturizing, with skin nourishing oils of Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, and scented with relaxing Lavender essential oil. My skin feels so soft and refreshed every time I use it. Its like having a day at the spa at home.
