Baijeot – Simple, Raw, Recycled ponchos, kimonos and rocks
Meet this stylish, creative soul Lena from Baijeot. She is the designer, and creator of this unique line of handmade ponchos, kimonos and rocks.
On my blog I love promoting brands that I have discovered from all over the world, that are driven with a purpose and passion for creating sustainable handmade products. So when I discovered Almirah, a mother/daughter created business based in Delhi, India I wanted to learn more about their passion for patchwork, recycling and creating a line of kids clothing from ages 0-12.
There are now so many more options to shop nowadays for both sustainable and recycled style, than ever before. These types of businesses are creating great environments and resources that either give back, or help in facilitating more sustainable ways to shop, which in turn take a small step in cutting down waste.
This is my first in a series of blog posts called Dreamers & Doers. I’ll be focusing on women who dared to break away from the corporate mold and go out on their own, to create the kind of life that they truly envisioned for themselves. The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But above all, the world needs dreamers who do.
